I'm not planning to sell anything online. Why
would I need a website?
A well thought out website reduces time customer
service devotes to fulfilling routine tasks every day. For many
companies, a website is the ideal place to house product specifications,
owner's manuals, frequently asked questions and other support items.
Additional value can be provided to your sales distribution system
by including reseller and/or retail locators on your site. Postage
costs can be significantly reduced by allowing resellers to download
price sheets, product brochures and other information at their convenience.
Who owns my existing domain name?
It depends on who registered the name for you.
If it was registered by a reputable website design firm, we can
easily have the registration changed to your name.
How do I get
my website onto the Web?
We will take care of this for you as part of our
web design package.
Do I need to purchase space out on the Web somewhere
for my website?
We normally take care of website hosting so our
clients can concentrate on other aspects of their business.
How do I choose a website designer?
Before choosing a professional website designer,
interview to determine if your website needs are compatible with
the designer’s style, skill and expertise. Viewing the designer’s
previous projects can be very helpful and informative. As your review
a designer’s portfolio, ask yourself the following questions…“Are
the sites clean, professional and visually appealing? Are they well-organized
and easy to navigate? Do all of the other sites look alike or is
each one custom designed?” After viewing other sites, be sure
to ask if the designer can meet all of your website development
needs from registering your domain name and providing hosting to
developing your website. Interview to learn whether the designer
is able to do any custom programming that may be necessary. Find
out if the designer will be available to perform ongoing maintenance
and whether the designer will proactively review your site periodically
to make sure that the information being provided is still current.
